Export

At NEBCO we can offer a global service from having the knowledge and expertise to ship your goods worldwide. This is of particular benefit when it involves large installation projects where customers often opt for inferior products simply because they are available from a local source. Our entire range of high-density storage systems are shipped to customers 'flat packed' regardless of where the installation site is located. Materials are carefully packed and secured in the same manner whether they are to be loaded onto an HGV or into a shipping container.

We work with some of the best freight forwarders in the UK who provide us with unbeatable service. Dedicated account managers with in-depth knowledge and expertise ensure the whole process runs like clockwork. Our freight forwarders have their own dedicated warehouse facility, this provides us with more flexibility when it comes to moving stock and lends itself to a much more reliable service.

As with any exporting process, the paperwork involved can be quite a challenge but we take care of the whole process. Some countries have more stringent import regulations than others but we pride ourselves in navigating our way through all the obstacles. We produce all the necessary shipping documentation including a Legalised Certificate of Origin a Bill of Lading and the Commercial Invoice. We also make sure every commodity code is accurate and linked to the correct tariff numbers.

We have the experience

We've shipped as far afield as the Middle East which can be a region with its own unique challenges to overcome. The most challenging thing can be not the materials but making sure our installation teams are processed correctly. In the middle east, construction teams require an official invite from the authorities from the part of the country they are traveling to. Once this has arrived they get the proper clearance and are ready to travel.

Prior to the final order being placed, we discuss with the customer the different tariffs and duties to be paid so all parties are aware of the arrangements. We ensure the correct insurance is in place well beforehand and discuss the actual lead times and transit times.

The process is simple, we have the shipping container delivered to the manufacturer who then loads the materials into the container in exactly the same manner as if loading a wagon. If a pre-shipment inspection is required we make sure it happens and the pre-shipment certificate is available for checking, the container is then security sealed. We discuss with the customer what type of service they require whether it be delivered just to port for collection or should include 'port to door'. Whatever requirements the customer has, we take care of them to ensure a smooth delivery and installation.
