Project Management
NEBCO has project managers with an average industry-related experience in excess of over 20 years plus. All project managers are ONC or HNC qualified engineers and also have “industry related” qualifications such as:
- IOSH / NEBOSH (Health and safety qualification).
- SEIRS trained (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme.
- CSCS trained (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- UKATA trained (Asbestos awareness).
- CDM trained (Construction Design Management).
All of the project managers have managed large contracts that cover third-party logistics, retail, commercial, public sector, and “e” commerce clients. On large or complex projects the Project Manager will be the main focal point for the contract post-order placement and will generate critical path Gantt charts that reflect agreed programme parameters and interfaces with other trades. They will also have control of labour resources and be able to discuss and implement any client request variations that may arise during the build period. The project manager will review all pre-tender and construction phase documentation and ensure that any contract-specific detail is reflected in the method statements and risk assessments that are then generated. Their final involvement is to formally sign off and hand over the installed system and issue as-built drawings and operations & maintenance manuals.
Site Supervision
This team is made up of experienced supervisors headed up by the Field Installation Manager. Again this team has well in excess of 20 years of average industry experience and has supervised builds not only in the UK and mainland Europe.
To support their industry experience they also have the following qualifications:
- IOSH (Health and safety qualification).
- SEIRS trained (Storage Equipment installer’s registration scheme).
- CSCS trained (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- UKATA trained (Asbestos awareness).
Their main role is to monitor build progress and conformity to current health and safety regulations, and report progress to the coordination/design department or the project manager in charge of the contract.
